Longstone Primary Newsletter September 2010 – December 2010

We have two new pupils in our school this year. They have settled into school life really well.

Farmhouse Breakfast Week 24-30th Jan 2010
Over the past 2 years we have encouraged pupils to bring a healthy break by running various activities such as ‘Healthy Break Weeks’ and ‘Fruity Fridays’. We now want to encourage pupils to bring a healthy break every day and to launch this, we will be having a talk and demonstration to coincide with ‘Farmhouse Breakfast Week ’ (24th – 30th January). Mrs Oonagh Chesney (who is from Fane Valley Foods and is also one of the parents from the school) will be coming on Monday 25th January to emphasise the importance of eating a healthy breakfast.
